Scribus is the Desktop Publishing Program (DTP) of free/libre open source software world and is available for GNU/Linux, Windows and MacOS. As a DTP, Scribus can be used for page layout design for printing press as well as digital press to produce works such as book, newspaper, magazine, flyer and anything consisted of text typesetting and CMYK colors. Scribus is one of the greatest program to create PDF documents. Scribus is also great to work together with GIMP and Inkscape. Scribus is available on Ubuntu 24.04 from the official repository. How To Install Scribus
1. Run App Center.
2. Put mouse cursor into search bar.
3. Type scribus and press Enter.
4. Select Deb Packages instead of Snap Packages on the selector.
5. Select Scribus.
6. Click Install.
7. Wait for the process to take place. This requires internet access.
8. Scribus installed.

Alternative Method
1. Run Terminal.
2. Type command line below followed by Enter:
$ sudo apt-get install scribus
3. Answer the question [y/n] with Enter and let it installs Scribus. Note that internet access must be available for this.
4. Scribus installed.

1. Click Ubuntu button.

3. Type scribus.
