openSUSE is a free operating system for everyone from the circle of SUSE Linux Enterprise from Germany, Europe. Leap is the regular stable edition of openSUSE to distinguish it from the rolling edition Tumbleweed. After Leap 15 initially released in 2018, then point one released in 2019, now point two released in 2020 with a lot of major changes. Its installer is in DVD size with both KDE and GNOME desktops of choice inside with Btrfs filesystem support built-in.
Get Ubuntu and openSUSE Laptops
Good news, now we can purchase computers with Ubuntu and openSUSE built-in. Of course this helps everyone switching from proprietary software Microsoft Windows or Apple macOS. Brands we can find today selling bundled laptops are Dell, Entroware, Tuxedo, LaptopWithLinux, StarLabs, and System76. However, currently only Tuxedo offers openSUSE bundling straight on their website while others still don't. I wish more vendors to offer Ubuntu and openSUSE as their bundlings. Lastly, see five minute video of openSUSE leader Richard Brown promoting openSUSE laptop.
